After full negotiation, ISO/TC207 stipulates seven key principles for the formulation of ISO14000 series standards:

1. The ISO14000 series of standards should be authentic and non-deceptive;

2. The evaluation methods and information of products and services and environmental impact should be accurate, BSCI audited and verifiable;

3. Evaluation and test methods cannot use non-standard methods, but must use ISO standards, regional standards, national standards or other technically guaranteed reproducibility standard test methods;

4. It should be open and transparent, but should not damage confidential commercial information;

5. Non-discriminatory;

6. Be able to carry out special and effective information transmission and education and training;

7. There should be no trade barriers to ensure the consistency between domestic and foreign countries
