The request process is divided into three steps

first step

WRAP certification program-registration and self-evaluation

A. The factory sends the registration form and request fee to WRAP, and then starts WRAP certification. From the beginning of registration to meeting the registration requirements, it takes six months for the factory. Once registered, WRAP will control the certification number, self-evaluation and assessment The manual is sent to the factory together with an acknowledgement letter so that the factory can acknowledge whether its existing standards, procedures and operating conditions are in compliance with this intention requirement.

The registration fee includes this intention management fee. The registration fee is non-refundable and valid within six months. If the certification is not passed after six months, the factory must request from the beginning.

The manual lists the basis for the factory to provide model rules. After the self-evaluation is completed, the factory must give a positive answer to each question in the production guidelines and provide an appropriate basis. (Same as Section IV.C)

B. It is necessary for the factory to provide evidence that its rules have been operating in the factory for at least 45 days.

C. When the factory can answer positively and/or complete each question in the selection item, the factory must select a WRAP-approved assessor in the country where the factory is located. After that, the factory must entrust it to the assessor and the completed self-assessment document (Factory archives, production criteria questionnaire and related documents) shall be submitted to WRAP.

D. Once the request fee and registration form are received, WRAP will issue a controllable number to the factory. This number is the number of the factory to participate in WRAP's administrative management activities. This number is shown in the factory and WRAP documents.

Second step

WRAP request evaluation criteria requirements-third-party assessor

A. The factory must select an entrusted assessor from the list of third-party assessors. The factory must sign a contract with the assessor and pay him a service fee, and at the same time recognize the date of the first factory inspection agreed by both parties. Before the factory, the assessor should read the factory's completed self-evaluation documents. The self-evaluation documents include:

B. The independent assessor will conduct an on-site evaluation in the factory. This on-site evaluation will identify whether the factory has the basis required by the WRAP production guidelines and prove that its rules are in compliance with the WRAP production guidelines.

C. After the independent assessor finishes the on-site assessment, he will notify the factory of his summary statement before he leaves, and send a completed factory assessment statement and certification recommendation letter to the WRAP certification committee.

Within 60 working days, the factory agrees to an independent assessor entrusted by WRAP, who will provide the factory with:

third step

WRAP certification-last visit to the factory

A. After an on-site evaluation by di, the independent assessor will make a factory assessment statement (already prompted: a feasibility recommendation or a correct operation plan that has been promoted in the factory), and all relevant investigation results and/or After that, the correct operation plan to be promoted is submitted to WRAP.

B. The WRAP Certification Committee will evaluate all the evaluation statements and all the basis, and finally issue the certification qualification certificate.

C. The WRAP certificate is issued for a factory for one year. The terms of the certification are recognized by the WRAP certification committee based on the established hazard basic certification guidelines. The basic hazards include, but are not limited to, the past and current management procedures of the factory, the operation of the factory, the area, and the local environment. .

a) During the certification period, the factory may undergo surprise or unannounced inspections.

b) When the factory does not fully comply with the WRAP production guidelines, it is admitted that there is more than one reasonable risk, that is, the factory is in a dangerous certification period, during which the factory will be subject to unannounced follow-up investigations without prior notice until it does not The compliance items are in full compliance with WRAP's production guidelines.

c) The standard period for the issuance of certificates for factories that conform to the WRAP production guidelines is one year, during which the factories must bear the plan or surprise inspections.

At the end of the validity period of the original certification, the factory can request re-certification. For re-certification, it is necessary to pay the certification project request fee again and register the certification project from the beginning.
