As of August 26, 2002, 150 organizations in 27 countries around the world have obtained SA8000 factory inspection certificates. The 150 organizations of BSCI factory audits involve 28 industries, mainly including clothing, textiles, toys, cosmetics, household utensils, chemicals, food, etc. These organizations include not only production-oriented enterprises, professional trading companies, but also agencies that provide consulting services and government departments. From the perspective of the business scope of an enterprise, it includes design, research and development, production, processing, sales, installation, service and other aspects.

From the perspective of the intercontinental distribution of certified organizations: Asia has more, with 92 organizations in 14 countries, accounting for 61.3% of the total; Europe has 43 organizations in 11 countries, accounting for 28.7%; South America has 12 organizations ( All in Brazil), accounting for 8%; North America has 2 (both in the United States), accounting for 1.3%; Africa only has 1 in South Africa, accounting for 0.7%.

In terms of the country distribution of certified organizations, there are more in China, 34 organizations in 10 industries have been inspected, accounting for 22.7% of the total; followed by Italy, 25 organizations in 14 industries have been inspected, accounting for 16.7%; India ranked third, with 14 organizations in 6 industries receiving factory inspections, accounting for 9.3%. It is worth noting that there are not many organizations in developed countries such as Europe and the United States that have a high demand for labor standards to obtain factory inspections, while organizations in developing countries such as China, India, and Brazil have obtained such factory inspections.

In terms of the industry distribution of certified organizations, companies in the clothing, textile and toy industries rank among the top three, with a total of 57 companies, accounting for 38% of the total; in addition, there are more companies in the cosmetics and household utensils industries; labor; Intensive industries have an advantage. In addition, many consulting agencies, government departments, and organizations that provide cleaning services and social services have also obtained SA8000 factory inspections.
