　　The purpose of formulating the SA8000 standard is to protect the basic rights of mankind. The elements of the SA8000 standard are quoted from the International Labor Organization (ILO) on the prohibition of forced labor, FSC forest certification and freedom of association conventions and other related standards, the global declaration of human rights and the United Nations conventions on children's rights. At the beginning of the standard, the definition and core elements of independent auditing of organizations and companies were given, and the basic principles of auditing and judging were confirmed. For example, "child labor" is one of the core elements of the standard. The principle of this element is as follows: the company cannot or supports the exploitative use of child labor. The company should establish effective documented policies and procedures to promote the education of underage children. These children may be those who should be educated within the scope of the local compulsory education law or minor children who are out of school. The standard stipulates specific guarantee measures, such as: during normal school hours, underage child labor shall not be used; the working time, school time, and round-trip time between work and study activities of underage child labor shall not exceed 8 hours per day; children shall not be used The labor force is engaged in work that is harmful, unsafe and dangerous to children’s health.
