a) The species indicated by the name; or

b) All species or specific parts included in a higher taxonomic unit.

2. The abbreviation "spp." refers to all species included in a higher taxa.

3. Classification units above other species are for data search or classification purposes only. The common name after the scientific name of the subject is for reference only (Editor's note: The common name of the original text is the English name, and most of the Chinese translated name is the same as the literary name, so it is omitted). They are to indicate that there are species in this family that are included in the appendix. In most cases, not all species in this section are included in the appendix.

4. The following abbreviations are used for taxa below plant species:

a) The abbreviation "ssp." refers to subspecies,

b) The abbreviation "var(s)." refers to variants.

5. In view of the fact that no annotations have been made for the plant species or higher taxa listed in Appendix I, it is stated that their hybrids should be managed in accordance with the relevant provisions of Article 3 of the Convention, which indicates that they are derived from one or more of these species or taxa. Artificially cultivated hybrids can be traded if they are accompanied by an artificially cultivated certificate. At the same time, these hybrids are derived from seeds, pollen (including pollen blocks), cut flowers that are cultured in vitro, placed in solid or liquid media, and transported in sterile containers. , Seedlings or tissue cultures are not restricted by the relevant provisions of the "Convention".

6. The countries in brackets after the species names in Appendix III are the contracting parties that proposed to include these species in this appendix.

7. When a species is included in an appendix, all parts of that species or its derivatives are also included in the same appendix, unless the species’ notes indicate that it only includes specific parts or derivatives. The symbols (#) and accompanying numbers that appear next to the names of species or higher taxa listed in Appendix II or III refer to footnotes, which indicate which parts or derivatives of plants are designated as "specimen" and are based on The provisions of Article di(b)(iii) of the Convention are subject to the provisions of the Convention.

Editor's note: The Chinese name of a species or higher taxa with "★" before it means that the species or the species contained in the higher taxa have a distribution record in China.
