130,000 mu of bamboo forests in Guangde, Anhui passed FSC-FM joint forest certification

The certified forest land of Guangde County is located between 119°02′～119°40′ east longitude and 30°37′～31°12′ north latitude. The high-speed highway runs from east to west, Guangning and Guangli provinces, and the highway runs from north to south, and the geographical advantage is very obvious.

Guangde County is the "Hometown of Bamboo in China", "Hometown of Chinese Chestnut", "National Economic Forest Construction Demonstration County", "National Mountain Comprehensive Development Demonstration County", national greening model county, and the province's top ten forestry industry counties (cities) . The Taiji Cave in Guangde is a tourist cave with a long history in the province. Feng Menglong in the Ming Dynasty called "Guangde Buried (Tai Chi Cave), Qiantang River Tide, Leizhou Drum Changing, and Mirage" as the four wonders in the world.

Guangde County Bamboo Industry Association was established in 2014, in order to establish sustainable bamboo forest management resources for its members, under the guidance of Shanghai Qiangjing Enterprise Consulting Co., Ltd., FSC forest certification as the leading unit combined with Lucun Township and Dongting Township for a total of 14 14760 bamboo forests in each village and nearly 150,000 acres of bamboo forests began to apply for the international forest system FSC-FM joint certification, and carry out forest management activities in accordance with the requirements of FSC forest management principles to promote the sustainable development of the forest; the forest jointly certified by the association is located in Guangde County The geographic coordinates of Lucun Township and Dongting Township are between 119°02′-119°04′ east longitude and 30°37′-37°12′ north latitude;

      The total land area within the certification scope is 383,550 acres, and the total forest area is 145,395 acres, including 144838.5 acres of forest land and 139,452 acres (7252.07 hectares) of bamboo forest. There are a total of 309 villager groups in 14 villages in Yangdaishan and Gaofeng, Dongting Township, and a total of 722 sub-classes, including: Ecological Public Welfare Forest Class 683 A; 39 commercial forest small classes.

    The total area of forestry land in the joint certification project area is 383,550 acres, including 144838.5 acres of forest land, including: 139,452 acres of bamboo forest, occupying 96.6% of the forest area, and the total number of trees is 24.57 million; the area of arbor forest is 5386.5 acres, occupying 3.4% of the forest area, and the total accumulation is 10,380 cubic meter.
