Of the two forest management units assessed by China's FSC, a state-owned forest farm and a forest development company are both certified by the export company that purchases its raw materials. At the same time, another 77 domestic wood processing companies have obtained FSC chain of custody certification. For companies, passing forest certification not only proves to the government, customers, consumers and other stakeholders that they practice sustainable forest management, but also proves that their raw materials and product sources are legal. CARB certification In order to promote the sustainable development of China's related forestry and paper industries, China established the China Forest Certification Committee in 2010 with extensive participation of multiple stakeholders. The final mutual recognition between CFCC and PEFC marks that China's forest certification system has been recognized by the international mainstream forest certification system. BSCI certification is an important step in the internationalization of China's forestry. Therefore, the mutual recognition of CFCC and PEFC is the correct strategic choice for sustainable forest management in China.
