The Disney factory audit is a compliance requirement of Disney for its suppliers. Mainly about from the aspect of social responsibility

From whether the employment, wages and benefits meet local laws and regulations, whether the human rights of employees are respected, and whether the working environment meets occupational health and safety, etc. Compared with other factory audits, Disney's factory audits are indeed quite strict, and many factories fail to pass the factory audits many times.

Important issues in Disney's factory audit.

    1. The legitimacy of the company: Customers verify the legitimacy and safety of the company by checking the company’s business license, tax registration certificate, firefighting chart and other documents and data.

2. Child labor and juvenile labor: The client prohibits the company from hiring child labor under the age of 16, and can accept the employment of juvenile workers over 16 years old and under 18 years old, but it must have government approval and practical actions to ensure the physical and mental health of juvenile workers healthy.

    3. Discrimination: Guests are not allowed to discriminate against gender, race, age, beliefs, etc. when the company hires and promotes employees. Inspectors generally check all the personnel files of in-service personnel and personnel files and labor contracts that have left their jobs in the past 6 months.

    4. Working hours: The company must ensure workers’ rest time in accordance with local laws and regulations, at least one day off a week, and no more than 60 hours of work per week.

    5. Labor compensation: Normally, overtime work and overtime work on statutory holidays must be paid to employees at the rate prescribed by local laws, and the monthly salary must not be lower than the local lower wage standard. Guests generally check the employee attendance and payroll records for the past 3 months or 12 months.

    6. Disciplinary measures: Customers do not accept any fines, beatings and scolds imposed by the company on employees, let alone forced labor by the company.

    7. Health and safety: The company must provide a healthy and safe workplace, as well as necessary environmental protection measures and related permits. Employees in special occupations must have corresponding operating certificates.

    8. Anti-terrorism: Not only must there be corresponding procedures for the movement of people and the circulation of goods, but also corresponding operation records. For the company's physical security, the needle control management must keep records according to the requirements of the customers.
